ABC News correspondent Bill Stewart is executed - on camera  - by government soldiers in Managua, Nicaragua.

The tapes get onto the airwaves of major networks. 

 

1982

 

John Quiñones is hired by ABC News.

Mexican-American and fluent in Spanish, he becomes their go-to correspondent for the violent conflicts of Central America.

 

1985

 

Julian Quiñones

Born in Toronto, Canada.

 

1991

 

Nicco Quiñones

Born in Miami, Florida.

 

2008

 

Julian, 23, and Nicco, 17, meet for the first time in their lives. 

Julian and Nicco- who grew up worlds apart- create Anything but Kings, a short documentary that explores one American's crusade to help orphaned children of the indigenous Mayan population near Antigua, Guatemala. 

 

2011

 

Julian is hired by ABC's What Would You Do?

He goes on to become a Producer. 

Julian creates over 30 aired episodes including some of the show's most viral content- garnering over 60 million views on YouTube.

 

2012

 

Quiñones Productions is created.

HOMEWARD begins principal photography.

 

2013

 

QP provides production services for major clients along the East Coast

 

2014

 

Julian is brought on to produce CNN's THE WONDER LIST.

 

2015

 

QP begins offering full service production & post-production to brands and corporate clients. 

 

2020

 

QP produces 35 pieces for the Biden & Harris campaign, in partnership with Illumiret Productions.

 

2022

 

Nicco is hired by ABC News to spend a year in Uvalde, Texas, in the wake of the shooting at Robb Elementary.
